Michael aims to provide effective therapies using Traditional Chinese medical techniques in a healing, peaceful, and relaxing environment. He works to reduce pain, restore balance, and promote relaxation, while also encouraging patients to take charge of their healthcare. Over the past 11 years, he has treated hundreds of patients for many conditions, including pain, neuropathy, headaches, vertigo, stress, anxiety, TMJD, insomnia, and addiction.
Michael’s journey to becoming an acupuncturist began in 2003, when he decided to go back to school and become a massage therapist. In 2004, he graduated from East West College of Healing Arts, but a year later, a serious motor vehicle accident led to a life-changing discovery. He received many different treatments that were instrumental in helping him to heal; however, it was acupuncture that really helped with his pain and resonated with him on a personal level. Thus, he returned to school, and in 2011 graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine with a master’s degree in acupuncture and Oriental medicine.
In his personal time, he volunteers at a local food kitchen serving meals to those in need. He also enjoys hiking with his dogs and cooking.
